Some people, using various IP addresses and IDs, have been trying to push their Mohajir (immigrant) agenda on Wikipedia. Being an "Urdu-speaking Mohajir" (an Urdu-speaking immigrant) doesn't substantiate one's ethnic origin. Two video references (1, 2) substantiating and corroborating with Dr. Khan's own words that he is of Pashtun origin have been re-added as they were removed, repeatedly. Hence "Urdu-speaking Pashtun" should suffice as it is NPOV. Please don't assume that you own this page thus don't indulge in edit-warring. Thank you. McKhan(talk)22:14, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Abdul Qadeer Khan is not a Pashtun, he is an Indian migrant and did not speak Pashto. He's an urdu/hindi speaker Indian muhajir and knew only urdu/hindi. Please refrain from spreading rumors. KentMccarthy778 (talk) 10:14, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
3 sources linked with the Pashtun claim already debunk the Pashtun claim, 1 video interview in Urdu where Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan clearly states he was discriminated against in Pakistan because he was a mohajir (migrant) from India. In the video he clearly states he only spoke Urdu and spoke no other language & was heavily criticized. He never claimed he was Pashtun. Please have a look at this video-source. Please have "Pashtun" removed as the linked references do not support that claim, 1 of the linked references does not exist. Here is another interview where Journalist clearly states you are neither Pashtun or Punjabi but people still respect you even if you are a Muhajir, where he accepts & acknowledges he only spoke Urdu & did not belong to both of the ethnic groups, Link to complete Interview. Thank you.
How are the shared links I provided NOT reliable sources? It clearly links to a well established local news organization, it's an in-person interview of him with the news anchor. Everyone locally knows that he is Muhajir Urdu/Hindi speaker, why are rumors being peddled on Wikipedia? He clearly states that he is a Muhajir from India and an Urdu/Hindi speaker. He clearly states in the whole interview that he was not acceptable by locals because he did not speak their language, because he was not Punjabi or Pashtun. How is a deleted Facebook post & unreliable sources for the Pashtun claim being accepted but the actual interviews, established news interviews, local accounts, his area of residency and funeral being ignored? Explain to me how above links are not reliable sources? Please clarify. Thank You. KentMccarthy778 (talk) 04:18, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
